Rated 5 out of 5 by from 115 degrees in Las Vegas Bought the Coolibar women's water jacket and shorts to shield a burn scar on my upper arm from the sun while swimming and hiking. This jacket worked so well that the upper arm never browned like my hands and face. I was also surprised while hiking that the jacket kept me cool even though the temperature on the stone bluffs we were climbing was 105. It seemed as though my own sweat cooled me as the moisture was wicked away from my skin through the jacket fabric. Sizes are a problem. The size chart did not match the measurements, and I had to send back the medium for a small. This was my first time ordering, but next time I will order a size??smaller. ??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you buy one thing from Coolibar, let this be it I love this water jacket. ??It is so comfortable and easy to use. ??I love the full front zipper - you don't have to pull it over your head. ??Being fair-skinned, I feel so protected when I swim and snorkel with this jacket. I bought my first one in 2009 to go to New Zealand and Hawaii and it is still fabulous. I bought another one in August 2013 for variety when going to aqua aerobics. ??It keeps me warm in the mornings! ??I have also bought two of these as gifts for others who have fallen in love with them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs some refining. True to size dry, stretches in water. I would rather it had adjustable toggles at the bottom on either side of the zipper for an adjustable snug fit because the bottom tends to float up in the water causing a poof (Bubble) in the chest area. This makes it look unattractive when wet. Thumbholes would be a great addition because the wrist is loose for me and rides up a bit. Material is light weight so definitely wear a sports bra, swimsuit, or anything to cover the breasts underneath. I like how the collar comes up to cover most of the neck area that way I don't have to wear a hat with the flap down the back. It looks attractive dry and you can't beat the easy on/off zip down the front! (I still think it is priced too high)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my go-to GOLF shirt! I have worn this "swim" top for years. ??It is my favourite golf shirt, especially in Maui and Arizona where it's over 100 some days. ??I can't say enough good things about this product. ??Swimming or golfing or just going for a walk in the sun ... you've got yourself the perfect sun protection! ??My order for two more goes in today!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Uniform! I wear Coolibar swim wear every day, all day from March through September. I teach swimming in the chlorine and bright Texas sun, about 7-8 hours a day. Nothing else that I have tried gets me though the hot summer like the Women's Water Jacket paired with Coolibar Swim Tights. Many days I wear a water resistant cap from Coolibar, too. I recommend these every chance I get and have many swim parents who ask about them. I say, Go "Coolibar!"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pink water jacket Fiest time to order from Coolibar. ??I purchased this jacket for the great pink color. ??The Medium was very loose so exchanged it for a small which is too tight. ??So will have to return it as well. ??Double postage and still no jacket.?? ?? I have a medium from another company that fits fine. ?? ?? I do wish they would make the sleeves longer to cover your hands in the sun like popular yoga wear companies make their jackets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but certainly room for improvement This is to provide a thorough review of the pros/cons of this product. I have bought four of these water jackets - two for me and two for my boyfriend. I bought these so that we could avoid burning while swimming and snorkeling midday in the ocean (Caribbean, Hawaii, etc.). Pros: - The style and cut are flattering. - The fabric is light and comfortable in the water. In the water, it provides sun protection, not warmth and is easy to swim in. This is good if you want this for warm weather and are concerned about burning (but will not provide additional warmth in the water if you are in cold water). - It dries quickly in the sun, but the color will fade. Cons: - The main con is that the zipper is not very strong and durable, and since it is metal, it is prone to corrosion. Since it is small, it is prone to breakage. Despite rinsing the water jacket in fresh water after each and every use and only pulling gently on the pull tab, the pull tab has fallen off on two of the water jackets in less than a year of use. On the other two water jackets, the pull tab has corroded. It is also difficult to start the zipper. To avoid the difficulty of starting the zipper and to avoid the pull tab breaking off, I usually only unzip halfway and pull over my head like a pullover. Of course, this negates the benefits of having a full zipper. Given the price of the item and its purpose, this is my main complaint. - Be careful not to wear with anything that could rub against the fabric (e.g., underwater camera strap, backpack, purse, etc.). The fabric is delicate and will get those tiny fabric balls anywhere where there is abrasion. If you wash in the laundry, be sure to fully zip the garment, wash inside out, and place inside of a laundry bag.?? - The fabric is not breathable. So, while it is great to wear in the water, it is too hot to wear outside of the water in warm weather.
