MINNEAPOLIS Sept. 17, 2008 -- Coolibar, the nation's leading SPF apparel manufacturer, announced today the appointment of Susan E. Engel to its board of directors.
Engel has led two major consumer product companies, including Lenox Group, Inc. (formerly Department 56) where she was chairwoman of the board, president and chief executive officer (CEO) from 1997 to 2007. She also was president and CEO of athletic apparel company, Champion Products, Inc., a division of the Sara Lee Corporation, from 1991 to 1994. Engel currently serves on the board of directors of Wells Fargo & Company and SUPERVALU, INC.
