After maybe 15 hours of research of different type of hat, I finaly choose this one because : +It's made from natural fibers (ecological) +It's not sprayed with nasty chemicals to make it "stain free" or waterproof (health) +It's crushable (extremly convenient) +It's rim is large enough to be very safe from the sun (health) +It's price !

There is only two negative touches: - The leather band will bleed in rain, so i've been told, so I replaced it with a fabric band. - The fabric is not organic cotton (organic hemp would be the absolute best ecological and durable choice)

I bought this hat for my 67 y/o husband because we both need to keep the sun out of our faces. This was perfect for him...not a cowboy hat, not a baseball cap. He looks so handsome wearing it.
