I bought this hat for my 3 year old to wear at school during outside play.   it works great! we live in a high sun area and it keeps the sun out of her face, neck, and ears.  plusc, it tays put! 

Good for boat travel or hiking-----stays on in the wind.

Originally ordered the adult size but was way to big as in the bill of the hat felt like a mile long. So I ordered the same style in the child. Fits perfect,the bill is longer than a normal baseball hat but does not feel as long as the adult size hat

I have been running and walking in Coolibar for many years and began purchasing the children's hat a few years ago, when I became aware that they fit me better and are lighter in weight than the adult had, which is a bit large for my head! These hats come in better colors, as well. A great buy with excellent sun protection! They are more affordable than the adult hats, too!
