Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kept me Protected in Ecuador (on the Equator) I usually use the Umbrella when I'm in the sun, but in the Galapagos Islands, I expected the wind to cause problems with that, and the fact that we used rubber dinghy's as transport. I did not want to sink the dinghy with my umbrella if I fell, so I brought 2 of these scarves on my trip. I wrapped 1 around my arm and sewed it as a supplemental cover for beneath my long-sleeved shirt. I used the other scarf over my shirt and it covered the shoulders, arms, and back where I tend to burn after my radiation treatment for Breast Cancer in 2011. The combination of UPF wear and these scarves kept me from burning in the Equatorial Sun. Thank you!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I didn't like it but you may... I am a melanoma pt so have a huge collection of scarves to use not only fro style but as cover up. This one was made of the Aire fabric and as I said in other reviews, it is so lightweight and silky (lingerie material style) it is almost nontangible. Too silky/clingy and hot. I returned it. However if you like that silky material feeling you may like it. I opt for the gloves to use while driving along with the ZnO cover up, then I get complete protection (one of my melanomas happened on my left arm; left side driving UV exposure is common FYI).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice scarf I've bought this scarf on the advice of my dermatologist. ??I've used it in the car to cover my arm and neck. ??It's nice and light weight and the fabric is sheer. ??It could be used as a shawl type cover with a dress and is nice enough to be used in a dressy situation. ??I'm still learning how to wrap it around my neck so the fabric is the right length to cover my arms and shoulders. ??Easy wash and dry is a big plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Very light weight - drapes nicely. If it gets wrinkled, they fall right out. I'm size 6/8 and can wear it as a wrap to cover shoulders and arms. Just barely - but it works in a pinch and I'm sure I'll get better at draping with practice. As a passenger in a car, I wear it as a head scarf wrapped to cover neck area. I bought the black, which I found to be a very dark charcoal rather than a jet black. The picture is accurate. Hope to see more colours or patterns.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Aire Shawl much more useful than Aire Scarf I purchased 2 Aire scarves, 1 black and 1 moss green. (Color note: the green looks nothing like what you see in the catalog or online. It's a pale green that I personally didn't like. The black is more of a dark charcoal, which I think looks nice.) I bought these primarily for use while driving. No matter how I draped the scarf, I couldn't get good coverage of my arms, chest and neck unless I held my body in awkward positions, and then it would just slide right off the areas I wanted to cover anyway. The scarf is simply not big enough to be really useful in the car, unless you only want to protect your neck and chest. I returned the scarves and purchased the Aire shawl, which totally fits the bill: I can easily drape it to cover all exposed skin on my upper body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from soft and attractive I bought this to use in the car. The sun comes in on the driver's side and burns my arm and leg. I can't put jackets and trousers on & off while driving, but I can take this scarf out of the side door pocket and drape it over my arm & leg. It works beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and stretchy I needed something very very adjustable because of my job requirements. This fits the bill much better than a hat, is light and pleasant to wear, and looks pretty good too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Soft The material is silky soft, and super light. I wore this to protect my neck and shoulders in 110 degree Palm Springs summer heat, and I was fine. ??I hope Coolibar makes more colors of this scarf. I would definitely buy more if they had more colors.
