Good for cutting out sun but, as in all big bucket hats is bad in the wind. The only one I have found good in wind is the Peltz by Imperial, and they quit making it.

I bought the hat to block the sun while playing golf. The hat looked okay online. When I received the hat I was extremely disappointed because the brim is so big and floppy like a woman's hat. It looks silly and I could not imagine a man wearing it. I put the hat back in the box and it sits on the floor to this day. I did not want to go through the effort of returning it. I instead bought a UV50 protection hat at a fair that I could try on and see that it looked good. This Coolibar hat was a waste of money.

I bought two on the recommendation of my dermatoloigst... very happy with both the fit and looks... I wear a big size and the fit is great...also very good in the wind..would highly recommend

This hat is somewhat goofy looking but if you are looking for a golf hat that offers outstanding sun protection and will comfortably stay in place even in the wind then you will not be disappointed with this hat.
