Just what I was looking for. A hat that protects my very fair skin but does not make me look like a man. I am an older woman with short gray hair who, quite frankly, looks goofy in most hats. This one looks chic, even on me, and it will stay on in the wind or when I bend over because it has a strap.

I bought this in February when I found out I was going on the trip of a lifetime to Australia! Was worried that my pale, winter skin would take a beating in the Aussie sun and a scuba trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Thought this hat was stylish but functional so I bought it. It was a bit "stiff" when it first arrived so I washed it in the washer and voila..ready to go. It packed extremely well without wrinkling and is now lined up for a summer of boating and beaching!
