I walk daily and now realize the importance of sunscreen and protecting my face from the sun.  This visor looks great with my walking attire and provides excellent protection for my face.  The temps are heating up and I do feel the visor holds heat in.  I have not detached the top of the visor so I will need to try that to seem if that helps with the heat issue.

I purchases this about 3 weeks ago. The sun visor doesn't have elasticity so the visor doesn't stay put very long  My other problem with it was the edges of the visor should droop down a bit so the sun isn't shining on the side of eyes.

I wear it running and it keeps the sun off of my entire face which was exactly what I want! My husband is embarrassed by this hat but I love it haha

I bought this visor for sun protection for both the top of my head and face but out of the 3 hats I brought with me on my trip to sunny Arizona I left this one in my hotel room because it doesn't give any protection to the back of the neck ..and I needed it!

I searched high & low for an extra wide-brimmed hat for my mother.  The best I could find had ugly and unnecessary flaps on the back that I knew my mother would not want.  This hat was the ONLY one that had a wide enough brim without the back flap.  The fact that it can be "converted" into a visor is a bonus.
