I have had melanoma skin cancer 3x in the past 7 years, my last melanoma was this February so I needed a wide brim hat for complete coverage. I wear sun protected clothing but did not have a hat that protected me.

Finally a hat that doesn't look ridiculous! Not too big, not too small - this one is just right. Looks elegant but not overdone. Love this hat!

I bought the hat because I take many medications and need to be protected by the sun.  The hat allows me to take out the sash and replace it with a different color as needed. The hat is chic and protective.
