This hat really keeps the sun off your face and head.  The chin strap is good for breezy conditions, but the large brim flips back in windy conditions.  Packable for trips to the beach.  You will have "hat hair" with this hat because it sits low on the forehead and has a snug, elastic band inside.

I bought this hat to take with me to Australia and New Zealand in November. It provided excellent protection from their brutal sun and was really cute, too! I've continued to enjoy it during our southern summer heat, since it is amazingly cool and comfortable. I've also recommended it to several friends.

I returned this because I wanted a cotton hat I could put in my pocket and this has a wire.

I'm a dog walker and spend eight hours a day in the sun. This hat is comfortable, it stays on with the tie and is clearly protecting my face. The ties are actually tied to the hat so you can lengthen or shorten the strong if you choose. It's also nice in that they don't "break". They simply come untied which is an easy fix. Great design!

Having melanoma I have many hats and this is the only one I can wear while golfing, kayaking etc and when I take it off and run my fingers thru my hair I don't look like I had a hat on. This is a first and I am so happy about it. Also, it is very lightweight so I don't sweat as much in it. Easily packable, I have even folded it in quarters and tucked it in a bag and with a little bending of the wire it comes right back to shape. I love it!

I love this Wide Brim Sun Catcher hat because it packs easily, is comfortable, and does the job of protecting my face from the sun (I am super sun-sensitive). I also love the fact that it has a chin strap to prevent hat from flying off in high winds... that's a big plus! The hat is easy to wash as well.
