PLEASE NOTE: The measurements on our size chart are very similar to most major clothing companies. However, we generally allow for a relaxed fit - geared for outdoor activity, travel or a casual outing. Pants, skirts, blouses and polo shirts have extra room for comfort and are not body hugging.
When fitting jackets, cover-ups or any outerwear, our fit model is wearing the appropriate under layers that we would expect you to be wearing. You do not have to "size up" - we have done that for you.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RIGHT SIZE
Never try to measure yourself. Seek the help of a companion and use a soft tape measure.
Height: Stand in stocking feet, with feet together, back to the wall. Measure from top of head to the floor.
Arm: Bend arm to 90 degrees. Place hand on hip. Start at center of back of neck. Measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. Number of inches equals your sleeve length.
Bust/Chest: With the arms relaxed down at sides, measure fullest part of bust/chest, keeping tape parallel to floor.
Hip: Stand with heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.
Neck: Measure around base of the neck (the lowest point of the neck). Number of inches equals the neck size.
Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom hem. Number of inches equal inseam length.
Rise: Start the tape at the center back waist, run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch and up your natural waist. Total measurement is your rise.
Waist: Measure around your waist, against your skin (not over your shirt or pants) at the height you normally wear your pants.
Head: Measure around your head, from the center of your forehead, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.

My favorite lightweight pantsI've been wearing these for 6-7 years. This specific style is new but the extreme lightweight of the pants are the same. I like the look and love the feel. These are must-have chothing for me in Texas summers. Wish the inseam was shorter and the price were lower, but despite many attempts, I have not found an equal to these to date.

So Good But So LongI'm 5' 11", slightly taller than an average American guy, and to wear these pants for a run with the bottom of the pants at a normal distance from the ground—not enveloping my feet—I have to hike them up four inches (I measured) above my waistline. And four inches too long makes for a four inch ring around my body where my pants and shirt overlap, and while I'm running that area gets hot.
And I have a size small—the smallest size that Coolibar offers. So why are these pants so long? Is the shortest person who is supposed to wear them 6" 3' with ultra long legs?
I still gave these pants four stars because I love the material and the looseness around my legs: overall, these pants are GREAT for running in the heat (at least in the light grey color).
But please Coolibar, let me buy a shorter pair.

nice pants, long inseamnormally I am a 30" inseam, these are listed at 31". Problem is that you must hike the waist 4" above your naval to achieve this. I think if you are tall these pants would fit just fine. Other than that, the pants look good, I wish they would have fit.

Redesign a missI am a loyal Coolinar customer. I nearly always wear the sports pant for workout. I recently restocked. They have been redesigned.
Plus is that the lightweight and wicking properties remain superior. Also, venting is improved.
Minutes is the fit is less comfortable, Debra king from the workouts. They are a bit longer, more baggy and have a very long waist.

Sports PantsI ordered 2 pair. I returned the sports pants. My reason - the design team changed the pants and put these incredibly stupid stripes on them. They basically ruined the pants. Bring them back WITHOUT STRIPES and I will order again. Also they company insists on putting writing on the back of the pants which is totally uncool and unnecessary.
