Over time, the sun's rays can seriously damage the eyes and surrounding skin, sometimes leading to vision loss and conditions from cataracts and macular degeneration to eye and eyelid cancers. The best defense is sunglasses with high quality lenses that absorb or block 99-100% of UVA/UVB light.

Their clothes run HUGE and they were rude. The sizing is really wacky. In my kids measurements the waist would need to be their XS but the length a large and the weight a medium. I ended up getting a Large because of the length but it looked like she had put on my grown up leggings. Currently she wears a 7/8 in all other brands but those are getting too short and I usually still take those in a few inches at the waist so I ordered a 9/10 (large) which seemed right even after reviewing their sizing chart. I am a seamstress and I find it odd that their sizing is so incredibly different than any other kids clothing brand.
When I called customer service I was given quite a bit of attitude at first and eventually they started to reluctantly help me. I led with it being our first order and things were far too big for my daughter and asked what the exchange policy is. The reply was "We don't do exchanges....ma'am." I expected a bit more helpful customer service given the price of the clothing.
If you manufacture clothing for kids with potential medical conditions that need UV protection then you might want to be a little more patient when you get a parent trying to figure out unusual sizing for their disabled kiddo. The whole situation was a bit of a turn off so I think once our return is processed we will order elsewhere. I hear Land's End has UV Clothing.

Burnt?! These do not appear to protect skin.We put these on our ~22 month old daughter once after one gentle washing according to the label. She wore them in a mix of full sun and partial shade on a breezy day on the water (not IN the water). She also wore a Coolibar long sleeve top and lifejacket. Her legs were rosy and tender to the touch (showing finger print spots) after about 2 hours. Her arms and areas under the lifejacket were fine/unaffected.

so soft and comfy! These have become my favorite summer leggings. They're cooler and less restrictive than my 95/5 cotton/spandex leggings. The girls L fit me well, but the XL was too large. I'm 5'4", waist 30", hips 36", inseam 30", 118 lbs. I often wear a girls size 12 in pants. The length is a bit short for me. They hit about an inch -1.5 inch above the widest part of my ankle bones. I usually wear socks for chemical-free sun protection to cover my feet so the socks fill the length gap. I've washed them twice and so far no problems like pilling or shrinking.
