HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RIGHT SIZE

Use a soft tape measure.

  • Height: Stand in stocking feet, with feet together, back to the wall. Measure from crown of head to the floor
  • Arm: Bend arm to 90 degrees. Place hand on hip. Start at center of back of neck measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. Number on inches equals your sleeve length.
  • Bust/Chest: With the arms relaxed down at sides, measure fullest part of bust/chest, keeping tape parallel to floor.
  • Hip: Stand with heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.
  • Neck: Measure around base of the neck (the lowest point of the neck). Number of inches equals the neck size.
  • Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem. Number of inches equals inseam length.
  • Rise: Start the tape at the center back waist, run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch and up your natural waist. Total measurement is your rise.
  • Waist: Measure around your waist, against your skin (not over your shirt or pants) at the height you normally wear your pants.
  • Head: Measure around your head, from the center of your forehead, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.

I bought this rash guard for my 1 year old (27 pound) big-boy son, as we go sailing every weekend, it was becoming a hassle to put sunscreen on him repeatedly. This rash guard is perfect! Soft, lightweight so he doesn't bake in the 90 degree August sun, and dries quickly so he can wear it in and out and back in the water comfortably. I would highly recommend it!

I love how cool it feels and how easy it is to take on and off - the snap design is great. I love the zig zag pink pattern, and just got the white floral pattern, which I think is beautiful but the white is slightly see-through.

His sensitive skin was not always sun proof with expensive sunscreen lotions, but we're happy to report he had no sun burn at all while wearing his Coolibar clothing! We went to many beaches and hiking in Kauai and he was comfortable, stylish and sun proof the entire 7 days in Kauai! He will be a Coolibar baby forever! Thank you Coolibar!

He wore it multiple times during the week (along with a Coolibar hat) and escaped the vacation with absolutely no sunburns! (Of course we also put sunscreen on his hands and feet.) He seemed to stay pretty cool despite being fully covered by the rash guard and swim tights. Also, it's a very cute combo and he got lots of compliments on his style. If we did more beach time in our regular lives, I'd definitely buy him a second set.
