Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile use for sun protection shirt The blue--gray, light blue, & white print on this shirt make a design that is subtle enough to serve as a casual/dress shirt, and the silkiness of the fabric adds to this versatile usage which my hubby likes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Look and Feel Great shirt, with great look and feel. Cool on hot days and hot look on cool nights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer in the sun One of the best shirts I have purchased in a long time: This is my “go to” shirt for outdoor wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and puffy-looking This is a very comfortable shirt and fabric, much lighter and smoother than a competitor's shirt (Solibari) but it seems all SPF fabrics are unable to drape smoothly or look tailored. This one has held its creases from its original packaging through multiple washings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacing old favorites with a new favorite Prescribed medication caused my skin severe and nearly immediate pain from the sun. I ordered this shirt hoping for effective protection but when it arrived, I found much more: a handsome shirt as comfortable and pleasant to wear as my old worn 100% cotton Madras shirts, which were longtime favorites. It's honestly surprising how lightweight and cool-feeling this shirt is. And it's good-looking. These are well made shirts. I then bought two of their others and a friend bought one, too. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, comfortable shirt Really felt comfortable with the Texas sun. The shirt was light and breezy yet kept the sun from burning my skin. The added bonus was the nice color and style of the shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dress up or down Looks so good whether tucked in or out. Bought this for my spouse for weekends but loves it for work too (summer driving with lots of sun.) It has a non-cotton texture but you can’t tell by looking. We don’t care, still feels and looks good w/lots of protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good. Quality depends which shirt you get. It's impossible to review this shirt accurately because it's actually three-ish products, maybe more, depending on pattern, or perhaps where it's manufactured. I started buying these several years ago when the only color options were solids. They were perfect. So light, airy, and breathable, they feel like wearing practically nothing. But, living in California and being relatively young and not on the golfing or country clubbing scene, they were a bit on the formal side for me. And it has to be said, after a short time, they get spotted and stained VERY easily, and permanently, by things like cooking oil. Or avocados. So I was happy when Coolibar introduced some patterns, but it turns out the quality varies a lot... I first bought the "multi-plaid," and it was completely unwearable. It was not breathable at all; felt like nylon tent material. Sweating in it for even ten minutes was intolerable. Hoping that was a fluke, I tried "blue kauai" next, and happily, it felt like all my previous ones shirts. Most recently I got "navy gingham," "white window plaid," and "coral etched lagoon." These are all somewhere in between the best ones and the worst one. It seems all the ones I find most comfortable and breathable are made in China, and all the others are made in India. I'm not sure if there are multiple factories, or if production has been moved completely to India since I started buying them, but it would be nice to be able to make selections confidently. These shirts are too expensive to be subject to this kind of variability. I wear one of these shirts every day, so I can't really give them a low rating. But I can't give them five stars due to the variability in the fabric, and the difficulty keeping them in good shape. If I were to average them all together I'd give them a 3.5. But, I'm extremely melanoma-prone, so it's important to have options.
