Employment - Sales Support Specialist - Full Time, Permanent
As an employee at Coolibar you are working to support the company mission to protect and prevent the world from sun damage.
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for assisting in operations, processes, and team members of the wholesale department. This role’s responsibilities include implementing best practices, managing day-to-day operations, creating and managing sales and marketing processes and successfully collaborating with other departments/teams. This role reports to the VP of Wholesale.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in the day-to-day activities of the Wholesale Sales Team
Working with the VP of Wholesale in creating a focus on profitable growth, efficiencies, and supporting the company mission of protection for everyone
Assist in the Wholesale Account setup, order entry and fulfillment process and related activities with finance, inventory, distribution, etc.
Assisting in communications and collateral development for the wholesale team. This includes targeted emails, new customer packets, collection workbooks, etc.
Work closely with creative/branding on various communication and collateral projects and materials to ensure that the end product meets the needs of the wholesale team and its customers
Assist in developing, implementing, refining and managing administrative and operational processes and structure related to selling, system utilization, shipping, customer needs, customer needs, etc.
Work closely with warehouse, inventory and other teams to drive operational success for wholesale
Provide general operational and sales activity support for the sales and rep teams. This includes bi-monthly sales calls, rep samples, problem resolution, etc.
Assist managing project related to development of existing and new channels, increasing revenue, while facing many obstacles [flash sales opportunities, DTC, key account relationships etc.
Assist the VP of Wholesale in mentoring team members, to develop their abilities, supporting the individual growth and development of the team members
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 3-6 years of progressive experience overseeing customer service / operations in a retail / wholesale environment
Experience directly managing people and their performance. Ability to collaborate and adapt leadership style to motivate and challenge team while reinforcing company culture, long term growth, and winning attitude
Strong communication and presentation skills; extensive exposure to senior leadership
Ability to build a business case and articulate financial concepts to non-financial business partners in a clear and concise manner
Strong MS Office skills and adaptability to new systems and software
Strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate concepts into actions
Must be able to multi-task, be flexible and perform in a fast-paced environment
