Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for driving and managing social media strategy to drive traffic to owned sites and increase the overall social footprint for Coolibar. This position will report to the Brand Partnerships Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Social Media

  • Develop, implement, and analyze social media strategy (paid and unpaid) across Coolibar’s platforms and website. Platforms include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Day-to-day management of social media campaigns, fan/follower interactions and analytics
  • Identify and analyze insights and trends, key influencers and brand advocates that will help to grow the Coolibar brand in the social media space
  • Collaborate with brand teams on the brand voice and editorial content and be the voice of the brand in any social media space across all channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Ratings/reviews, blogs)
  • Develop engaging social media content and partner with creative team to develop visual assets
  • Drive understanding and use of social media best practices and investment to meet brand strategic and operational objectives for marketing, consumer insight, sales, and customer service
  • Create, execute, and manage engaging social media contests and measure results
  • Regularly update feedback insights gained from social media monitoring
  • Community Relations

  • Identify key influencers and brand advocates that will help build the Coolibar brand in the community
  • Support customers by answering comments, questions, and concerns in a timely manner
  • Share customer feedback with product teams and connect brand managers to key users
  • Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of applicable digital content and social media experience. Experience in marketing, community relations and PR helpful
  • Experience with paid and unpaid social medial. Entrepreneurial instincts and hands-on attitude. Eye for the big picture with ability to work hands-on, day-to-day operations
  • Supportive and collaborative team player, with ability to work successfully across teams and work independently
  • Results orientated with ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Willing and able to travel about 10-15% per year
