The measurements on our size chart are very similar to most major clothing companies. However, we generally allow for a relaxed fit - geared for outdoor activity, travel or a casual outing. Pants, skirts, blouses and polo shirts have extra room for comfort and are not body hugging.

When fitting jackets, cover-ups or any outerwear, our fit model is wearing the appropriate under layers that we would expect you to be wearing. You do not have to "size up" - we have done that for you.

Never try to measure yourself. Seek the help of a companion and use a soft tape measure.

Height: Stand in stocking feet, with feet together, back to the wall. Measure from top of head to the floor.

Arm: Bend arm to 90 degrees. Place hand on hip. Start at center of back of neck. Measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. Number of inches equals your sleeve length.

Bust/Chest: With the arms relaxed down at sides, measure fullest part of bust/chest, keeping tape parallel to floor.

Hip: Stand with heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.

Neck: Measure around base of the neck (the lowest point of the neck). Number of inches equals the neck size.

Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom hem. Number of inches equal inseam length.

Rise: Start the tape at the center back waist, run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch and up your natural waist. Total measurement is your rise.

Waist: Measure around your waist, against your skin (not over your shirt or pants) at the height you normally wear your pants.

Head: Measure around your head, from the center of your forehead, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practical, lightweight and kept the sun off I bought this to take on a road trip around Australia. I primarily wanted it for sun protection in the car, and it was perfect for this. The material is very lightweight and it also kept me cooler as it blocked out the direct sun on me. Occasionally we stopped to look at things and I didn’t have suncreen on, so I just draped this around my shoulders like a shawl. I found the material very crease resistant too which was a bonus. My only criticism (and minor one at that), I wished it came in a solid light neutral colour such as blush.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Conflicting Information! I was interested in this as a beach cover up because it is listed under, guess what?, Beach Cover Up. Imagine my surprise when reading the particulars it specifically states Do Not Use for beach or pool, not suitable for chlorine nor seawater. Huh?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So incredibly useful - a perfect travel piece I bought this for a boat trip in Turkey. It was a lifesaver in the blazing sun. I used it s a pareo, but then would open it up and cover myself like a blanket when I needed more sun protection. I ended up using it as a shawl for cooler evenings too. A perfect piece. The prints are not my ideal style, but the utility far outweighed such concerns. I would love to buy one in a bright solid color like turquoise or hot pink or black

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use in the Vehical Any of these pieces, the pareo or shawl are great for covering up (fashionably) when driving or as a passenger into that blazing west sun! I keep one in each vehical and can quickly lace it around my neck and drape it over my arms and hands. It instantly cools me, also, as it deflects the hot rays. My husband likes to use one when he's driving long hours across country, also. People, you must cover up, even in the car!!! Think of all the times the sun beats in on the side of your face while driving. Just drape it over your head like a hoody. As a passenger, I can loop it over the sun visor when I swing it to the side. My husband can still see the mirror and I'm sitting in protection! Love it!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Best used in conjunction with a swimsuit! I loved the idea of this, but I'm going to be returning. Realistically it only works as a sort of swimming cover up. Since my swimsuit doesn't match this, I couldn't figure out how I would use it. As a skirt I would need to have something underneath, and the dress just hangs and isn't flattering. It's not good standalone clothing. Also I'm 5'9", 170lb, and the L/XL was way too much fabric for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So versatile This one simple piece is now a new favorite of mine. It quickly and easily changes from a skirt to a dress to a shawl to a scarf. I purchased the turquoise patchwork and it is beautiful, soft, and comfy. I absolutely love it! It's a must have for warm locations and such fun to be able to use it in so many ways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for travel I bought the pareo in the turquoise geo print for a trip to Laos and found it extremely useful as a blanket to keep the sun off during a river cruise, as a lightweight towel and swimsuit cover, and as a sarong/shawl to cover knees/shoulders for temple visits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cruise-worthy Got this for my wife to cover up on our Bahamas cruise - used it on the boat and on the beach, and she said the fabric was comfortable to touch/on her skin. Good deal all around.
