HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RIGHT SIZE
Use a soft tape measure.
- Height: Stand in stocking feet, with feet together, back to the wall. Measure from crown of head to the floor
- Arm: Bend arm to 90 degrees. Place hand on hip. Start at center of back of neck measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. Number on inches equals your sleeve length.
- Bust/Chest: With the arms relaxed down at sides, measure fullest part of bust/chest, keeping tape parallel to floor.
- Hip: Stand with heels together, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.
- Neck: Measure around base of the neck (the lowest point of the neck). Number of inches equals the neck size.
- Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem. Number of inches equals inseam length.
- Rise: Start the tape at the center back waist, run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch and up your natural waist. Total measurement is your rise.
- Waist: Measure around your waist, against your skin (not over your shirt or pants) at the height you normally wear your pants.
- Head: Measure around your head, from the center of your forehead, keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor. Measure around fullest part.

Love the strap
My kids both have these hats and they love them because the strap prevents them from falling off in the wind. There is Velcro to secure it but I sewed it in because that frustrated themselves. As a dermatologist I love the broad brim!!

Stay far away
Not recommended. Look elsewhere is the best advice I can give. These hats will only fit a newborn. They are way too small and shallow to fit on a toddler. And customer service won’t let you change the order and they won’t help you with return postage. Plus they are expensive and such a waste of money. Not happy with the business rn. This product should not be for sale. Terrible.

Toddler loves it!
I bought this for my toddler not knowing if he would wear it, but he loves it! He has a large head for has age and it still fits well (I got the largest size) and he wears it every day at recess at his school. The only issue we had was the one side of the strap kept coming off during play (I’m sure it comes off for safety reasons) so my mother-in-law put one simple stitch in there just to hold it better, but still can be snapped easily if need be. Definitely a keeper!

Run small
I read the reviews about it running small. So I bought size 10-12 for my
4 yr old and it fits him perfectly. Glad I listened to the reviews. The sizing is way off.

Love!
My daughter had about 60 stitches in her face and has to completely protect her face from the sun for the next year. We bought the hat in pink and navy to wear in the sun on vacation and to wear while in the water. It completely covers her face and the strap keeps it on her in the water. 1 side of the strap occasionally comes out of the Velcro and we have to reattach it - little annoying but not awful. I'll be ordering more hats for the summer so we always have them
