"The fabric of this UV scarf is very thick. It might be okay for winter, but it is way too hot for warm days when you actually need UV protection. Furthermore, both sides are completely open, so it doesn't cover the shoulders at all. This design makes it pretty useless for sun protection."

"My husband is allergic to polyester. We weren't sure if he was going to be allergic to ZnO fabrics which is a mixture of cottoon and bamboo because he normally wears 100% cotton. Thankfully it worked! We bought the Key West Sun Neck Gaiter and wore it in the carribean sun. It was thin enough to dry quickly but thick enough to keep him safe from the sun. He hates wearing sun screen and can easily turn red if he doesn't cover. This neck Gaiter worked perfectly. I love how the extra fabric stays under his shirt so it doesn't roll up. He also loved being able to cover his head and use it as a mask as well. Highly recommend this material and brand! He's already planning to buy more to use at work."

"Chat GPT recommended checking out the sun protection clothing from Coolibar. I was hesitant to purchase from this company due to negative customer service reviews. I didn’t have any issues. This gator was appealing to me because regular neck gaiters tend to ride up, exposing my neck to sun. I have vitiligo, no pigment on my neck, and prolonged sun exposure causes my skin to blister - I’m hopeful this will work well for me."
