"I purchased the umbrella as replacement for an earlier version of the Coolibar umbrella. This version is difficult to open and does not have a vent and the wind will blow the umbrella inside out."
Took on a trip to Cancun, Mexico
"The design is superb and polished. The umbrella sheath fits the umbrella just right. However, as the product description mentions, this umbrella can't withstand even a slightly stronger gust of wind (it flips over in the wind quite easily). The sheath and umbrella had a strong fishy smell out of the package. I washed the sheath and hoped the remaining smell would go away on its own. After a week in Cancun, there's still some smell left, but it's not noticeable much unless I put my nose next to the fabric to smell it. P. S. My umbrella almost didn't arrive in time before the trip, but I contacted customer support, and they got back to me in time to let me know what was up on their end. My package was shipped to me quickly after that. Overall, I was happy with this customer service experience."

Good Quality, Effective Umbrella
"I live in a desert area and the summers are rough with the heat and intense sun. This umbrella helps a lot. It is lightweight and it is opaque so the sun won't get through like a rain umbrella. It even fills a little bit cooler under the umbrella. It is compact enough to fit in a large purse - maybe not small purse. It comes with a cover sleeve. It feels really solid - like it will last a long time. It is very easy to open and close. It is wider than I thought it would be which is great - more coverage."
Sun Protection Beautiful Enough for a Wedding!
"Sun makes me sick, but this umbrella allowed me to sit outside in the sun for my son's August wedding. The outside is shimmery, and the turquoise interior happened to match my dress. Most of all, I was able to interact outside in the sun with all the other guests. Very effective and attractive!"
Cons greatly outway the pros. . .
"Pros: The shade is nice, it works well against the sun. Cons: The so called 43" measurement is of the arc, and not the coverage area. It's actually about 37" wide. Much smaller than I thought. It has a strong smell of fish when opened. . It is not an automatic umbrella despite the price. That big silver button is to close it after you've manually opened it. It's HARD to open it because the ledge that the open umbrella sits on it so small that it slips often. When closed and held by the handle, the umbrella still extends if upside down. The cons greatly outway the pros. . . but at least it shields the sun ð"

"The Sanya umbrella is light weight and the perfect size. It g8ves me the coverage I need without being cumbersome. And I love the light rose! It's true to color, exactly what I was hoping for. I wish it had a push button to open, but that's a minor point for me. The lining provides superb sun protection. Great product. I highly recommend it."
