"So far, so good. I live in a high heat area [Kern County], and under the umbrella, the sun doesn't feel like it's beating down on me; the umbrella really does protect against UV rays and lessens the intensity of the sun."

"I purchased the umbrella as replacement for an earlier version of the Coolibar umbrella. This version is difficult to open and does not have a vent and the wind will blow the umbrella inside out."
"The design is superb and polished. The umbrella sheath fits the umbrella just right. However, as the product description mentions, this umbrella can't withstand even a slightly stronger gust of wind (it flips over in the wind quite easily). The sheath and umbrella had a strong fishy smell out of the package. I washed the sheath and hoped the remaining smell would go away on its own. After a week in Cancun, there's still some smell left, but it's not noticeable much unless I put my nose next to the fabric to smell it. P. S. My umbrella almost didn't arrive in time before the trip, but I contacted customer support, and they got back to me in time to let me know what was up on their end. My package was shipped to me quickly after that. Overall, I was happy with this customer service experience."
