"I mostly wear this as a hat. It provides good coverage from the sun and is nice for walking. The brim is just wide enough that you may have to lift the hat’s brim to see from the sides. I like his hat/visor!"
"The soft "loop" part of the velcro fastener should extend farther into the inner band so that if you have a tighter setting the abrasive "hook" part of the velcro doesn't destroy the hat's fabric. Such an obvious design feature. Even better, if the visor came in more than one size OR instead used a tightening mechanism for the band instead of velcro (cheap) this wouldn't be an issue. On the upside, the hat is attractive, provides ample coverage and bounces back into shape even if you mash it up in suitcase."

My face is covered, and it is really hard to get a burn anywhere with it on, but the side of my face, which is a lot easier to cover up than my nose and forehead. I have not taken the top part off to use it as just a visor since I’d like to protect my scalp as well. I’m using it in Florida and plan to go to Mexico with it and I’m so happy I bought this hat. Highly recommend."
