Frayed hat

"I was extremely disappointed in this hat. First off the Velcro should be on the outside, not the inside. I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to attach it to the inside of the visor. It also stuck to my hair and pulled on it when I was taking the hat off. Second, the frayed edges scratched the back of my neck. I like wearing my hair up so when I did attach the Velcro, where the hat sat on my neck I had to maneuver it so it wouldn’t scratch my neck. That was a pain and made the hat loose on my head so on a windy day the hat would end up flying off. I was really hoping to like this hat."

High expectations

"I have purchased products before, jackets and shrugs and arm covers so I ordered the hat and immediately was disappointed it didn’t feel like a quality item. It also was much smaller than the advertisement picture. I requested a return authorization that was delayed in response. I armit I neglected to return the item I believe I missed the return window. I don’t know if the products actually protect from sun damage or if the language is clever marketing. However I was atteacted to the natural materials in the product. Next time I will do a better search, Amazon sells a version made from the same materials for 50% less cost and with amazon prime shipping the value was 3x cheaper. Lesson learned."

"Small plastic pokes out through material around the upper brim. Inside serger thread messy finis and unraveling upon arrival. It gets caught in the Velcro."

"Nice wide brim for good shade. Heavy material that feels like it will last a long time. I was afraid the band would be too tall and odd-looking, but it's great. Can't wait to wear in the pool"

Nice visor

"This is a nice visor. The downside for me is that it is one size fits all. While this works for most people, I have a fairly small head. The 2" long velcro fastening system only overlaps for about 1/2 inch when I adjust it to my head, so the back sections of the hat don't align very securely. I will probably try to Frankenstein it int a better solution, but it would be nice if just once people who make hats would make them for people with a fairly small head size. I will rate this True to size, because while it doesn't fit me, it probably will fit most."
