Reviews

Ok

"It is thicker than I expected. Not for hot summer weather. More for fall or spring. Also, color is more white than vanilla. Was planning to use it for Disney world this August but I think it will be too uncomfortable. Wish I could return it but I lost the tags."

Better on the diagonal

"It is a nice wrap but does not fit quite the way I hoped. Works better hanging with the long points hanging center rather than on the sides."

Exactly what I needed. The

"Exactly what I needed. The buttons allow for a more comfortable and versatile garment. Color is as shown."

Perfect to throw on over tank tops

"This is perfect to throw on over tank tops or t-shirts, and the airflow keeps me cool. I’ve been wearing it everywhere. So far I’ve used it only in the poncho configuration. I’m 5’4”, 130lbs, and this fits me like it shows in the photos."

basically it is a rectangle piece of material

"was not what I expected considering the pictures. so yes it can be worn as shown but it is basically like they cut a rectangle piece of the SPF material and then added the buttons and holes. quite expensive for this overall. there is no "size". so anyway I will keep it for my walks to cover up. don't feel like sending it back cause I didn't pay extra for the returning item fee which I also not so fond of."

Perfect

"I bought this in every color! I love them! Very versatile!!"

Expected to hate it, found I NEEDED it

"I wanted to hate this thing. It’s not, shall I say chic? I packed it up for return, wrote my qualms in a review—then I started packing for a vacation. Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious! This thing saved my life, quite literally. Coolibar, listen up because I’m gonna pack a lot into this little review. You gotta fix the buttons on the wrap. They need to come from the same side when you are wearing it like a shrug. When on like a shrug, on the right arm, the buttons come from under/ the left arm the buttons are coming from the top. Please fix that, it looks wonky. My review for shoppers— If I don’t cover up from UV I will get deathly ill. It makes for tricky and challenging daily living and zaps the fun out of 99% of my days. I can’t dress normal, I can’t shop normal— but sometimes I forget that because I’m just a girl…. I bought an earthy brown crocheted maxi dress (trendy boutique brand) that had a couple of slip layers and figured I’ll put a shirt over it. Well, ALL the coolibar shirts I wear day to day were too structured to go over this beautiful crocheted maxi slip dress. It dawned on me to go to my returns box and reluctantly dig out the cream wrap that I so hated. Voilà !!!! I can wear a dress off the rack from any shop, which is sleeveless btw, because of this ingenious wrap situation coolibar blessed me with!! Happy, happy lady here!! Happy girly-girl!! COOLIBAR, we gotta talk colors. We must talk colors! Call me. Would love to see this in the aire fabric. Think soft earth tones (for me. Others might want warm rich tones). Your colors are definitely getting there!! But they still need some help. For anybody who is hesitating on this wrap, I kid you not, you need this thing. You’re shopping at coolibar because you get sick like me. Buy it. Don’t make me be the only one walking around with this thing on. Let’s make it a statement!!"

It’s almost there

"The wrap is almost there. The buttons should be placed for the workings of the shoulder wrap—and come from the same side (underneath). On one of my arms the buttons come from the top, on the other arm the buttons come from underneath, and it just looks wonky. Not seamless or expensive looking, just sort of like “im wearing a blanket and tried to invent a wrap out of it. ” It could also come in two sizes to combat it feeling like such a big blanket. We pay a lot for your clothes. Please keep us expensive looking and not just bleh and average. I agree with colors, coolibar. All of us cannot handle cool and icy or bright and loud colors. And we are all demographics—young, mature, white, black, Asian, we live in New England, Florida, Washington state, over seas and all in between. We need clothes for dates, grocery runs, baby showers, work, summer vacation, and typical girlfriend dinner or brunch. Please think outside the box. Get some diverse fabric colorists in there. And, who cares if our bathing suit is upf 50 over our butt cheeks? We need coverage over our head, arms, legs, everywhere. We can’t wear a bathing suit. We have to wear swim tights. Don’t you know your actual demographic? I get it, the options draw lots of people in. Once there they may shop a bit. But “we” are relying on you. “We” pay your bills. “We” invest thousands in your clothing every season. We repeat shop year -after year - after year. I hope you are listening."
