"I LOVEEEEEEEEE this Coolibar Hoodie I got. I Love the nice soft material. Absolutely great for the day-to-day

"Recently diagnosed with photosensitivity, these zip-up hoodies have been a blessing. I pair them with Coolibar's Women's Ruche Pants, for example, allowing me to keep wearing tops from my "regular" (non-UPF) closet underneath the hoodie. When indoors, I can just take off the hoodie. This item is also helpful during moments later on during the day, as a coverup to wear on top of my regular "going out' top, particularly to early dinners when I only need UPF 50+ for a finite amount of time. Then I can simply take off the hoodie and place it in my purse for the rest of the evening."

Zippers always break on my Coolibar items

"I used to purchase Coolibar items because I trusted that the sun protection would not wear off after one season. Over the last few years, the quality of Coolibar has declined so that the items I purchase don't last two seasons anyway, so I'm not sure why I'm paying a premium. Mainly, it's the zippers. On all of the LumaLeo pieces I've purchased and then also on two colors I purchased of this hoodie, something about the zipper fails. Either it won't zip up, it won't align, or the little Coolibar decal piece falls off and what's left snags and scratches anything I lean against. I don't know what happened with the company, but you used to be my favorite and now it feels like you've kept the prices high but started skimping on the quality - like many, many other places. What a bummer."

First purchase for me and I’m very pleased

"This is my first purchase from Coolibar, I’m delighted with the item. It seems to be good quality and I like the style and fit. I’m so pleased that the material is soft and not too thick, whilst offering excellent cover and protection from the damaging sun/ UV rays. LOVE

"I absolutely love this hoodie. It's lightweight, comfy, wears well, and best of all it feels like regular cotton instead of plastic like most upf clothing, so it blends in super well with "regular" clothing for every day use instead of just active wear. My only wish is that the neck went up higher, especially since it's a zip and you'd have the option to wear it lower if you'd like. Kind of like the neck on the Vuori Modern zip hoodie, to where if you zip it up all the way it covers the front of your neck. Also wouldn't mind an extra inch on the sleeves with some thumbholes for more hand coverage, but that doesn't feel as important to me as the neck coverage. I have 6 of these and constantly replace them with new colors. Love it so much. Have been wearing them for 10 years on long 3 hours walks and all day hikes. My absolute favorite."

One of my favorite.

"This is my third white Arcadia jacket. I love these jackets and wear mine daily. The white one does become a bit dingy over many years and the fabric does develop small holes but the sun blocking feature never disappears. Wonderful product!"

Love it--but one very important feature is missing :(

"I love this hoodie! I bought it specifically for the spf protection. It is lightweight and perfect cover up in hot weather. However, it does not have thumbholes in the sleeves. I'm very surprised it was missing this feature, as this garment is marketed specifically for sun protection. I believe anyone buying a long sleeve cover up specifically for sun protection would want the thumbholes, as that keeps the sleeves low enough to cover/protect the skin on the back of the hands from the sun. Even though I really like this hoodie, if I had known before purchasing that it did not have the thumbholes, I would not have bought it."
